About
Halitech Solutions
A Halifax, Nova Scotia company that turns AI research into practical results: cleaner health signals from wearable devices, and business leaders who know how to use AI well.
Founder
Dr. Ali Hamidi
Ali began his career in a bank's IT department and has spent 29 years in IT and research. He trained in electrical engineering, holds an MBA, and completed a PhD in artificial intelligence at Dalhousie University.
His thesis, Machine learning-based classification and reduction of motion artifact noise in ECG signals for wearable vital sign monitoring devices, developed models that reduce motion-artifact noise in wearable ECG devices. That work is the basis of Halitech's health-AI research, and his experience applying AI in real organizations shapes Halitech Academy's courses.
